t’s been getting quite cold here in the Midwest! And this winter, I have definitely been gravitating towards sticking to light a natural-looking makeup. I’ve never been one for dark makeup, so a soft glow was definitely up m alley. I’ve been in love with the glowy skin look all year. I know it’s something typically hyped for the warm weather, but who says that fresh beauty glow is only reserved for the summer?
Clinique Even Better Glow Foundation – WN 118 Amber (D) | Matte Finishing Powder – NYX | Morphe 35O palette – Rose gold color | ColourPop Super Shock Shadow – Seeker | MaryKay Lipstick – Raisinberry | Clear lip gloss – Local Market | Kiss Lashes – 02
First I added a light layer of the Clinque Even Better Glow Foundation to create a clear canvas. As raved about in my October favorI find that even with oily skin, this foundation doesn’t make my skin look greasy. After application, I just apply light layer of NYX powder set my face a little bit, since I have naturally oily skin.
For my eyes, I applied Seeker from Colourpop all over my lid for a tint of color. To keep with the soft glow theme, I added a rose gold color in the Morphe 35O palette the inner half on my lid blending it out. Next I did my staple winged eyeliner, making it thin. Lastly, I applied these kiss natural lashes. To finish the look, I went for a pinky-nude lip with a Mary Kay lipstick in the color Raisinberry and topped it with a clear lip gloss.
